Nothing Is Wasted in God
One of the most beautiful truths about walking with God is this: “With God, there is no waste of time, no waste of space, no waste of knowledge.” Everything matters.
Every prayer whispered, every sacrifice made, every seed planted—God sees it.
Last year, our prayers were simple but powerful: “Lord, send us men.” And today, we see the answers sitting among us, worshiping beside us, serving with us. You are the answer to prayer. You are not here by accident.
We honor those who just joined and celebrate those who walked from the beginning—when church began in a small dental clinic during someone’s lunch break. That is the heart of kingdom giving: sacrifice is the seed.
“Don’t look at the size—look at the impact God can make with it.”
Just as five loaves and two fish fed thousands, what matters is not the measure, but the Master’s touch.
The Heaven Culture of Giving
Heaven is not random. Heaven is ordered. Heaven has protocols.
God is a King—the King of kings. When you come before a king, you don’t come casually. You come with understanding, honor, and intention.
And as His children, we are royal too:
“He has made us a kingdom of priests unto Himself.” —Revelation 5:9
People from every tongue, tribe, nation, and language—this is what heaven looks like. Look around you—you are seeing heaven in advance.
When we give, we don’t give like the world. We give like sons and daughters of the King.
Jesus Teaches Us How to Give
In the story of the widow’s offering, Jesus teaches the first kingdom principle of giving:
Mark 12:41–44
He watched the people put money into the treasury. Many gave from their abundance—but a poor widow gave all she had, her whole livelihood.
Jesus honored her, not because of the amount, but because her gift cost her something.
“I will not give to the Lord that which costs me nothing.” —King David
This is kingdom protocol.
Four Questions Every Kingdom Giver Must Ask
1. Who should I give to?
The first is God. Genesis begins with this truth:
“In the beginning, God.”
Everything starts from Him. Everything returns to Him.
Proverbs 3:9
“Honor the Lord with your possessions and with the first fruit of all your increase.”
We give to God, then to His family—the church.
Galatians 6:10
“Do good to everyone, especially to those in the household of faith.”
Then we give to those connected to us—our family, our relationships, our pastors, and everyone in need.
2. What should I give?
Giving is not only money.
- Thanks — “In all things give thanks” (1 Thess. 5:18)
- Honor
- Time
- Encouragement
- Silence
- Yourself
Sometimes the most powerful thing you can give is simply your presence — to sit with someone in silence while they hurt. Even before God wants what you have, He wants you.
3. When should I give?
Not occasionally, not seasonally, not only on holidays.
Ecclesiastes 11:6
“In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening do not withhold your hand.”
Giving is a lifestyle, not an event.
4. How should I give?
Jesus gives us the posture:
- Give with a clean heart
If someone has something against you, fix it first. (Matthew 5:23–24) - Give willingly and cheerfully
Not out of pressure.
2 Corinthians 9:7 - Give secretly
Not for applause or social media.
Matthew 6:1–4 - Give from what you have, not from what you wish you had
The widow teaches us that.
Giving Isn’t an Investment Strategy
Giving is not a way to manipulate returns. It is a redemptive work. It frees your heart from the grip of materialism and self-centeredness, and aligns your heart with the King.
In the story of the rich young ruler (Mark 10:17–27), Jesus didn’t want his money—He wanted his heart. But the man walked away because his treasure had captured his heart.
God asks us to give so He can reveal where our heart truly is.
“The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it.”We actually own nothing. We are stewards of everything and owners of nothing.
When God asks you to give, it’s because He is preparing to release something greater.
Maybe this year was challenging. Maybe the enemy tried to take more from you than you expected. But the Spirit of the Lord raised a standard, and you are still here.
Take a moment today and reflect on what God has done—from the breath in your lungs to the growth in your soul. If God kept you, blessed you, and was faithful in the valley—He will be faithful in the mountain.
Let thanksgiving be the wrapping around everything you give.
Final Thought
Giving is not about loss—it is about alignment.
God gave first. Heaven’s culture is generosity. Every time you give, you participate in the nature of God.
If it costs you something, it carries His power.
“Nothing is wasted with God.”

Prayer Father, thank You that nothing in my life is wasted in Your hands. Teach me the protocols of giving like a child of the King. Cleanse my motives, purify my heart, and help me give with gratitude, joy, and faith. May my giving bring breakthrough, healing, and transformation in me and through me.
