Who is Jesus?

Jesus is the Son of God, and He came to this earth to save us from our sins. He lived a perfect life and willingly died on the cross to take the punishment for our sins. He rose from the dead and now offers eternal life to all who believe in Him.

The Bible says in Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” This means that every person has done things that are wrong and fall short of God’s perfect standard. But the good news is that God loves us so much that He made a way for us to have a relationship with Him through His Son Jesus.

Here’s a version of the Sinner’s Prayer that you can use:

V1: “Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I am in need of forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins on the cross and that You rose again from the dead. I turn from my sins and ask you to come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour. I invite the Holy Spirit to guide me in this new life and to empower me to live for you. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for saving me. Amen.”

V2: Heavenly Father, I know that I am a sinner and that I have done things that do not please you. I believe that Jesus Christ is your Son, that He died on the cross for my sins, and that He rose from the dead. I ask you to forgive me of my sins and to come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. I want to turn away from my old life and start living for you. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
